Description:

The new Brigade and Battalion Headquarters would have been a very simple structure to erection had it not been located on the Fort Carson Army base which required a blast resistant design. The design build team for the project was able to simplify an otherwise difficult requirement by utilizing bolted connections in lieu of welded for the angle and girt framing at the upper level which were added to accomplish the design requirements.
