Douglas County High School
Location: Castle Rock, CO

Description:
The new Douglas County High School is now home to almost 1100 students consisting of classrooms, gymnasium, and an auditorium. The steel framed structure included a crawlspace with the floor framing as composite structural steel. Long span joists were used at the gymnasium and a large long span truss supported the heavy loads in the auditorium.
